Former Yobe governor, Abba Ibrahim dies in Saudi Arabia

Former Yobe governor, Bukar Abba Ibrahim has died.    According to reports, the former governor died on Sunday, February 4, in Saudi Arabia after a protracted illness.   Late Ibrahim served as governor of Yobe State from 29 May 1999 to 29 May 2007. Supreme Court affirms Sanwo-Olu’s election as Lagos state governor

The Supreme court today January 12 affirmed the election of Babajide Sanwo-Olu as governor of Lagos state. In March 2023, INEC declared Sanwo-Olu as the winner of the Lagos state governorship election. His election was however challenged by LP’s Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour also known as GRV, who scored 312,329 votes. and PDP’s Abdulazeez Adediran popular as Jandor who came a distant third with 62,449 votes.
