NLC, TUC declare indefinite strike from October 3

Blackout looms as electricity workers join NLC’s proposed strike

ASUP declares two weeks warning strike

The Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP) will commence a 2-week warning strike from Monday May 16.    The decision was taken at an emergency meeting of its National Executive Council on Wednesday May 11.    ASUP which suspended its industrial action declared on the 6th of April 2021 on the 10th of June, 2021 following the signing of a Memorandum of Action (MoA) with the government, said the strike became necessary over refusal of the federal government to meet their demand.

Police dismiss nine officers over failed strike
