President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of a new management team for the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON). The Nigerian Correctional Service on Wednesday October 27, released some names and images of 122 inmates who escaped from the Abolongo Custodial Centre in Oyo State. The inmates escaped after unidentified gunmen attacked the correctional centre at about 10pm on Friday, October 22. The University of Calabar (UNICAL) has issued a three-month ultimatum to graduands of the institution who are yet to collect original copies of their certificates. In an official memo dated June 25, the Registrar of the University, Mr. Gabriel Egbe said that there were over 42,000 unclaimed certificates in the various faculties and institutes.
