An 18-year-old boy, Mubarak Akadiri, told Ondo State Magistrates’ Court sitting in Akure that he killed his mother’s employer, Sidikat Adamolekun, after she caught him stealing her phone. The teenager allegedly murdered the 63-year-old retired head teacher and stole her phone at her residence in Arigidi Akoko in Akoko North-West Local Government Area of Ondo in November. The Anambra state police command has confirmed the arrest of a 34-year-old man identified as Ifeanyi Apusiobi of Azu Ogbunike in Oyi LGA of Anambra State, for reportedly killing his two kids with wooden pestle.
