312 Indians evacuated from Nigeria due to COVID-19 pandemic

268 Nigerians who were stranded in China have arrived Abuja. They landed the Nnamdi Azikiwe International airport this evening, May 30.   According to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffery Onyeama, the evacuees will be going into the mandatory 14 days quarantine as stipulated by the Federal government. ”268 Stranded Nigerians in China safely arrived the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, 30th May 2020. 325 Chinese nationals evacuated from Nigeria due to Coronavirus pandemic

325 Chinese Nationals have been evacuated from Nigeria due to the lingering Coronavirus pandemic.    The Chinese nationals departed Nigeria via an Air Peace flight on Thursday night, May 28. The flight is headed for Shanghai.   France, Canada, the UK, and the US are among the countries that have also evacuated their nationals from Nigeria since the pandemic began.   The Nigerian government has also evacuated some Nigerians from other countries back home.

FG suspends evacuation of Nigerians stranded abroad due to the Coronavirus pandemic

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffery Onyeama, has announced the suspension of the evacuation of stranded Nigerians overseas.   Recall that in April, the Federal government announced plans to evacuate Nigerians who are stranded abroad due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
