A supporter of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) collapsed and died during the convention of Saturday March 26. The supporter was heading for Eagle Square, the venue of the convention when he slumped and passed away. One of those around him said the deceased first complained of dizziness and collapsed thereafter. At the scene witnessed many of the party’s supporters rushed to assist him, but it ended in futility. Multiple Twitter users have reported that a groom at the wedding they attended was kidnapped by fraudsters, known as Yahoo boys. According to eye witness accounts, the wedding was holding at a hotel in Abeokuta when the Yahoo boys arrived in a Mercedes-Benz and bundled the groom into the car. The groom is said to have played a fast one on the Yahoo Boys, making them lose money, hence the abduction. See tweets below.
