Gunmen have abduçted the mother of the All Progressive Congress (APC) senatorial candidate for Jigawa Central senatorial district, Honourable Tijjani Ibrahim Gaya. Hajia Jaja, a septuagenarian, was abducted from her house in Kiyawa Local Government Area of Jigawa State on Monday night, June 20. The Kogi State National Assembly Election Petition Tribunal has dismissed the petition filed by Dino Melaye challenging the election of Smart Adeyemi as winner of Kogi West Senatorial re-run election in Kogi State which held on November 16, 2019.
