US singer, Kelly Clarkson files for divorce from husband after almost seven years of marriage

American singer, Kelly Clarkson has filed for divorce from her husband, Brandon Blackstock  after almost seven years of marriage.   According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the American Idol winner quietly filed to end her marriage in Los Angeles last week.    Clarkson and Blackstock first began dating in 2011 and got married in 2013. Lady who called out about-to-wed schoolmate for rape dragged to court

The lady who called out her about-to-wed schoolmate for rape has been dragged to court over the allegation.    The accuser identified as Ebele Muogbo a.k.a Lighthouse Beacon was accused of making same allegation in 2015 and 2017 in spite of allegedly engaging in consensual sex with Femi Oloidi who is now a lecturer at University of Nigeria, Nsukka.    The petition filed against Muogbo and her friend identified as Mark Anthony Osuchukwu reads;

75-year-old man arrested for allegedly raping 15-year-old hawker in Osun

39.4m Nigerians might be unemployed by end of 2020

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has revealed that 39.4 million Nigerians might be out of job by the end of 2020 according to projections received by the economic sustainability committee.  Osinbajo who disclosed this while presenting the committee’s report to President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday June 11, said the National Bureau of Statistics also projects that the country would have a revenue shortfall of N185 billion monthly with oil prices at $30 a barrel.
