The Ekwueme singer who has been on life support for the past two months died in an Abuja-based hospital on Friday April 8. Sister Sinach who is known for her angelic voice is popular for the track, Ekwueme. She was 42 years old. She is survived by her husband and four children. May her soul rest in peace, Amen.
An official of the Lagos state government was booed by some angry Nigerians at a gospel program, The Experience, that was held in Lagos last night December 3. Popular Gospel singer, Tope Ajogbajesu, is dead. According to his friends, the singer died in the early hours of Friday, July 30, after a protracted illness. The deceased was a member of the singing duo, Ajogbajesu twins. Tope and his friend, Jide, began singing together some years ago. Their debut album “winner” was released in 2004.
