Jonathan visits APC chairman Ganduje

Former President Goodluck Jonathan on Friday, November 24, National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, at his residence in Abuja.   APC said in a tweeted;    “The National Chairman, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, received in audience former President Goodluck Jonathan @GEJonathan at his residence in Abuja.”     The purpose of the visit is unknown as of the time this report was filed.

Anyone caught will get death sentence — Ganduje warns herders against banditry

Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano state has warned herders in the state against banditry.    Speaking at the launch of a state-wide mass vaccination for cattle and small ruminants, held in Kadawa, Garun-Mallam LGA of the state on Saturday February 26, Ganduje noted that his administration has provided modern alternatives to improve the businesses of herders.   The Governor said any herder found involved in banditry would get the death sentence, while those involved in cattle rustling would be sentenced to life imprisonment.

Governor Ganduje lifts Kano lockdown

Governor Abdullahi Ganduje on Thursday July 2, announced the ease of total lockdown in Kano state.    The Kano state Governor who said the Federal Government-imposed curfew of 10pm to 4am will still be effected in the state, directed civil servants from Level 12 and above to return to work beginning from Monday July 6.   Commercial tricyclists in the state were also directed to carry only two passengers.
