The management of the National Assembly has shut down the House of Representatives Complex for a routine fumigation exercise. During the two-day exercise, staff of the the house are expected to stay away from the complex. They’ve been directed to resume normal duties on Monday June 22, but it is still not clear if scheduled House committee functions will go ahead or not. The Nigerian police has arrested the man who led a protest on Tuesday, June 16, in Katsina. Nastura Sharif was arrested on Wednesday, June 17.
