Engineer Muazu Magaji, the former Commissioner of Works and Infrastructural developments in Kano state who was sacked after being accused of “celebrating” the death of late Chief of staff to the President Abba Kyari, has been discharged after recovering from Coronavirus. The former Commissioner made the announcement via a Facebook post. Magaji wrote; “To the Glory of Allah SWT, today Friday 22nd May and 29th Ramadan I have been confirmed Covid-19 negative and discharged from Isolation centre.”

Mr Kehinde Ayoola, the Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources in Oyo state, has died. He was 55 years old. Ayoola fell ill two weeks ago and was on admission at a private hospital around Iyaganku, Ibadan where he died today May 14. The Oyo-born politician represented Oyo East state constituency between 1999 and 2003. The cause of his death is not yet disclosed.
