Hours after APC members took to Twitter to protest, writer, Toni Kan has now declined his appointment as the spokesperson of the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouq.

APC members took to Twitter yesterday to vehemently reject his reported appointment. They argued that he is not a member of the party and that he cannot be appointed into a government he has openly criticized in the past.

This afternoon, Kan announced he has declined the appointment. See his tweet below
