Two female gun runners arrested in Nasarawa

Two female suspects, Rashida Umar and Rukaiya Ladan, have been arrested in Nasarawa State for allegedly supplying arms to bandits.    The women were arrested at 177 Gds Bn CP in Akwanga following credible intel on the movement of some suspects trafficking arms moving from Fadan Karshe in Sanga LGA of the state towards Akwanga.   Over 1,000 x rounds of 7.62mm x 39mm special ammunition were recovered from the suspects.   The suspects were said to be on their way

25 states and FCT to experience heavy rainfall on Thursday and Friday
