Simon Cowell left Louis Walsh furious during Sunday’s X Factor Live Show, as he blamed the Irish music mogul for contestant Sam Black’s lacklustre performance.
The 58-year-old pop frontman said that Louis did not make the right decision in Sam’s performance, and that the entire presentation was ‘karaoke.’
In an awkward on-screen spat, Louis was left furious by Simon’s comments and jumped out of his seat in frustration.
Sam gave an energetic rendition of George Michael’s I’m Your Man, in a week that saw performances dedicated to the late singer’s discography.
The song saw a mixed reception from the judging panel, with Simon saying: ‘Despite Louis being in the industry for over 70 years, he hasn’t helped you at all. That’s what I call karaoke!’
Louis furiously rebuttled: ‘You’re ganging up on me! He’s so much improved! I think the public are going to keep him in!’
Louis then proceeded to jump up from his seat and fan the audience in a bid to garner support.
